Houston-Love Memorial Library is excited to announce that it will be showing holiday movies on Saturdays at the library during the month of December.

"We are so excited to be able to give our com, unity the gift of movies during the holiday season and look forward to showing more movies throughout the year." said Kristin North, Children's Librarian.

The series will begin on December 8th with a showing of The Search for Santa Paws, which tells the heartwarming story of a dog named Paws who takes as trip to New York city with Santa Claus to help the boys and girls of the world regain their Christmas Spirit.  When Santa loses his memory, it is up to Paws and his new-found friends to save Santa and show the world the true meaning of Christmas.

The series will continue on December 15th with a showing of Eloise at Christmastime.  Based on the book of the same name, this movie tells the story of Eloise, a six-year-old girl who lives in the Plaza in New York City.  She celebrates the Christmas Season in her own way by taking part in all the festivities happening around the hotel.

The series will conclude with a showing of Thomas Kinkade's A Christmas Miracle on December 22nd.  This drama tells of eight strangers who are forced to take refuge in an abandoned church during a snowstorm.  While there, they learn life lessons from each other and how to work together despite their differences.

All showings will take place at 10 a.m. in the Community Room and are free and open to the public.  Free popcorn and beverages will be provided.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.
