Man arrested for burglarizing neighbor's home | Crime
On May 24, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a residential burglary in progress in the 600 block of Collier Street. Upon arrival, police surrounded the residence and called for the suspect to surrender. An officer on scene announced the presence of a police canine that was sent into the home after the suspect refused to comply with officers’ instructions to come out. The police K9 located and apprehended a man inside the residence who was attempting to steal miscellaneous items. Police discovered the suspect, Raymond Thomas, is a neighbor of the victim he was burglarizing. The suspect was arrested and all property was returned to the resident.
- Raymond Thomas, black male, 32 years of age, of Collier Street was arrested and charged with Third Degree Burglary with a $2,500 bond.
