Dothan man charged with domestic violence | Crime

On July 7, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a domestic assault in the 100 block of Booker Street. Due to the sensitive nature of the case limited details are being released however investigators say the victim was awakened by the sensation that she could not breathe. The victim immediately realized the suspect, identified as Bryce Myrick was standing over her, constricting her airway in a manner that police have not disclosed. The victim received treatment at a local hospital for injuries sustained during the assault and the suspect was arrested bringing the case to a close.  

Bryce Myrick, black male, 31 years of age, of Booker Street was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence by Strangulation or Suffocation with a $10,000 bond.
