Former Ashford Mayor arrested for harassment | Crime
ASHFORD, AL (WSFA) - Former Ashford Mayor Bryan Alloway was arrested by the Houston County Sheriff's Office on Monday following an altercation with a neighbor.
According to Ashford Police Chief Jim Stanley, Ashford police officers were called to the scene where Alloway was allegedly involved in a dispute with a neighbor.
The Ashford officer who responded realized he was related to one of the persons involved and called the Houston County Sheriff's Office to take over the investigation.
Alloway's neighbor signed a harassment warrant against him on Monday. Alloway was arrested, booked in to the Houston County Jail, and released after posting a $300.00 bond.
