Amber Alert issued for missing Dothan teen | Crime
DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - An Amber Alert has been issued in the case of a missing pregnant Dothan teen. The FBI has stepped in to aid in the investigation and a reward is being offered for her safe return.
An Amber Alert has been issued for 15-year-old Ailene Lander who was kidnapped from the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan around 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Lander, who was in the custody of DHR, was taken from the medical center during a scheduled appointment by her step-father, Charles "Dean" Partin.
Authorities have reason to believe Lander and Partin are traveling with Lander's mother, Julie Bethke, and Lander's five siblings. The FBI has information leading them to believe the family may be traveling to Mexico.
If you see them or know anything about their whereabouts call 1-800-CALL-FBI, then choose option one. Again, a reward is now being offered in this case.
Lander is described as a white female, 15 years of age last seen wearing a white see-through shirt and pink gym shorts.
Partin is described as a white male, 36 years of age last seen wearing a baseball cap, dark colored shirt and dark jeans.
The family may be traveling in a 1994 Mercury Villager van Alabama tag #34B26K3 or #38D18W2.
