Dothan PD: Man arrested for possession of burglary tools | Crime
On October 1, 2012 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest for possession of burglary tools. While on routine patrol, an officer observed a suspicious vehicle which was traveling slowly through a residential area. The vehicle stopped briefly in front of a few homes leading the officer to believe the driver may have been casing residences. The officer made contact with the driver, James Franklin and conducted a brief roadside investigation during which he discovered the man was in possession of multiple screw drivers, flashlights, wire cutters and other miscellaneous items consistent with burglar’s tools. Franklin was arrested.
- James Franklin, white male, 48 years of age, of Montgomery Highway was arrested and charged with Possession of Burglar’s Tools with a $2,500 bond.
