Dothan police seek identity of shooting suspect | Crime

On October 9, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 600 block of West Newton Street just after 9:00 p.m. after receiving a report of a critical firearm assault. Upon arrival, police learned from witnesses that at least two gunshots rang out after two men were overheard arguing. Police are investigating the case and hoping for more information regarding the alleged verbal altercation and identity of the shooter.

The victim, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition where he is currently awaiting surgery for injuries received during the incident.
