On April 16, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent theft of property investigation. Investigators say Laurie Williams was employed at “Armstrong and Lamb Auto Sales” as an office manager with access to the banking account of the business when in the early part of 2010, she began writing checks and using the debit card belonging to her employer, without permission, for her own personal gain. The amount taken between the years of 2010 and 2013 totaled over twenty-six thousand dollars and investigators say the case will remain open pending further charges.
Laurie Ann Bond-Williams, white female, 44 years of age, of Norwood Drive was arrested and charged with 17 counts of second degree theft of property and 2 counts of first degree theft of property. Bonds on all charges have been set for a combined total of $105,000.
