Dothan police arrest man wanted on burglary charges

On April 16, 2013 Brandon Tolbert was taken into custody after an arrest warrant was issued on charges of third degree burglary. Investigators say that on June 20, 2012 a residential burglary occurred on the 4500 block of Cottonwood Road in which a large amount of copper material was taken. Evidence left at the scene and witnesses to the incident have led investigators to identify Tolbert as a suspect. Tolbert’s arrest now brings this case to a close.

Brandon Jermez Tolbert, black male, 28 years of age, of S Edgewood Drive was arrested and charged with third degree burglary. A bond amount has been set for $15,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Dothan woman arrested and charged with 19 counts of theft of property

Dothan woman arrested and charged with 19 counts of theft of property

On April 16, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent theft of property investigation. Investigators say Laurie Williams was employed at “Armstrong and Lamb Auto Sales” as an office manager with access to the banking account of the business when in the early part of 2010, she began writing checks and using the debit card belonging to her employer, without permission, for her own personal gain. The amount taken between the years of 2010 and 2013 totaled over twenty-six thousand dollars and investigators say the case will remain open pending further charges.

Laurie Ann Bond-Williams, white female, 44 years of age, of Norwood Drive was arrested and charged with 17 counts of second degree theft of property and 2 counts of first degree theft of property. Bonds on all charges have been set for a combined total of $105,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Dothan man arrested on burglary charges

On April 12, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded 300 block of Railroad Avenue in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Michael Corbitt as he removed property from the home. Officers were able to make contact with the resident owner and confirmed Corbitt entered and took the property without permission. Michael Corbitt’s arrest now brings this case to a close.

Michael James Corbitt, black male, 27 years of age of Dothan, Alabama was arrested and charged with third degree burglary. Corbitt has a bond set at $5,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Dothan police arrest two residents on multiple charges

Dothan police arrest two residents on multiple charges

On April 14, 2013 the Dothan Police Department Narcotics Unit made two felony arrests following an ongoing investigation.  Narcotic Officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Overlook Drive. Upon entering the residence, officer located several grams of marijuana and items used to weigh and package the drug for sales. Also located and seized from the residence was a loaded AR-15 assault rifle. Investigators have arrested Kelley Toben and Hannah Morris on multiple charges bringing this case to a close.

Kelley Kyle Toben, white male, 23 years of age, of Overlook Drive was arrested and charged with first degree possession of marijuana, conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime and chemical endangerment of a child with bonds totaling 90,000.00.

The Dothan Police Department needs your help in locating Dantrail Lee Mills who is wanted in connection with the shooting that occurred at the “7 Sisters” bar on Sunday April 14, 2013.

Dantrail Lee Mills, black male, 28 years of age. Mills stands at 6 feet 1 inches and weighs approximately 160 pounds.
