Dothan police arrest woman wanted for theft

On August 2, 2012 The Dothan Police Department asked for the help of our local community locating a woman wanted for felony theft. Police said an investigation revealed Victoria Perkins stole and pawned a laptop belonging to an acquaintance in May 2012. Police also said the stolen property was recovered and a warrant for the suspects’ arrest had been signed.

Investigators now say the case will be closed as the suspect has now been located and arrested.

Victoria Perkins, black female, 28 years of age, of Conti Road was arrested for Second Degree Theft of Property.

Dothan PD: Woman arrested on domestic violence charges after allegedly stabbing boyfriend in back

On August 2, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded a domestic assault at a residence in the 800 block of Tacoma Street. Upon arrival, police learned Deborah Denise Jones attacked her boyfriend stabbing him in his back before fleeing from the residence. A police canine was used to successfully track the suspect who was located and taken into custody. Investigators said the victim received treatment at a local hospital for his injury which was not life threatening.

  • Deborah Denise Jones, black female, 46 years of age, of Tacoma Street was arrested and charged with Second Degree Domestic Violence with a $30,000 bond.

Dothan PD: Case closed following sexual abuse of a child arrest

On July 31, 2012 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest for Sexual Abuse following a recent investigation. Due to the sensitive nature of this case limited details are being released however police did say the case will be closed following the arrest.

  • Jerick Hadley, black male, 20 years of age, of West Selma Street was arrested and charged with Sexual Abuse of a Child Under 12 with a $30,000 bond.

Dothan PD asking for help in locating theft suspect

The Dothan Police Department is seeking the help of our local community locating a woman wanted for felony theft. Police say the investigation revealed Victoria Perkins stole and pawned a laptop belonging to an acquaintance in May 2012. Police say the stolen property was recovered and a warrant for the suspects’ arrest has now been signed.
