Montgomery man arrested on theft charges in Houston County

On March 15, 2013 at approximately 2:45 a.m. Houston County Sheriff's Office (Patrol Division) observed a suspicious person running from a local business on U.S. Hwy West (Ray Dean Farm Equipment) while conducting a close patrol of the local business.
 
The deputy caught the individual and detained Chris Bibb a 24 year old male of Montgomery Al. and conducted a preliminary investigation with Houston County Sheriff's Investigator.
 
After the investigation was concluded and with the recovery of evidence that showed the attempt to steal a tractor trailer truck from Ray Dean Farm Equipment, Chris Bibb was charged with Attempted Theft of Property 1st  and taken to the Houston County Jail and held on a 2,500.00 bond.

DPD arrest Union Springs woman wanted in connection with a robbery

On March 8, 2013 the Dothan Police Department requested the help of the community in locating two females in connection to a robbery that occurred on January 11, 2013. Shortly after, investigators received information that the female in possession of the purse was recently arrested in Bullock County Alabama on charges of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.

Dothan man arrested for violating the sex offender notification act

On March 12, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest on Robert Powell for failing to register as a sex offender in Houston County.
 
Robert Earl Powell, black male, 45 years of age, of Pine Hills Drive was arrested for violating the Sex Offender Notification Act, with a $15,000 bond.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Dothan Police arrest man for failing to register as a sex offender

On March 14, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest on James Ward for failing to register as a sex offender in Houston County.

James Kyser Ward, white male, 35 years of age, of Columbia, Alabama was arrested for violating the Sex Offender Notification Act with a $2,500 bond.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Man arrested for trying to cash forged checks

Man arrested for trying to cash forged checks

On March 13, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent investigation. Investigators say Hunter Middleton went to a local bank on two separate occasions and withdrew money from an account using checks that were unlawfully taken from a car on February 21, 2013. Officers made contact with Middleton at that bank and took him into custody.

  • Hunter Bryce Middleton, white male, 18 years of age, of Wicksburg, Alabama was arrested and charged with two counts of second degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument with bonds totaling $5,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Arrest made in employee theft from Radio Shack

On March 13, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent employee theft investigation. Investigators say Reginald Ingram was the manager at Radio Shack when on two separate occasions he took the nightly cash deposit and kept it for himself. Ingram’s arrest now brings this case to a close.

  • Reginald Wesley Ingram, black male, 31 years of age, of Sedona Lane was arrested and charged with two counts of second degree Theft of Property with bonds totaling $5,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Dotham woman arrested on robbery charges

Dotham woman arrested on robbery charges

On March 14, 2013 at 1:39 p.m., the Dothan Police Department Communications Center received a report of an armed robbery in progress at A.W. Herndon CITGO, 1817 Montgomery Highway. An employee reported that a woman in possession of a knife came into the business and demanded money.

An alert officer in the vicinity responded to that location and found the suspect Whisper Lott inside of the business with the employee. Lott was taken into custody without further incident. 

Whisper Linda Lott, white female, 22 years of age, of Sioux Street was arrested and charged with first degree Robbery, with a $60,000 bond.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
