Power outage expected to last into the evening | News

DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - Dothan Utilities are currently experiencing a large power outage affecting the west side of the city.

All areas west of Grove Park, along West Main Street to the City Limits is without power. This area also includes North and South Brannon Stand Roads.

The city says the faulty equipment responsible for the outage is currently being replaced, however, the outage is expected to last up to three or four hours.

Authorities ask that motorists please exercise caution in these areas as you travel and watch for police officers directing traffic in intersections without power.
