Fort Rucker-Wiregrass AUSA chapter elects officers for 2012-13 | News
Wiregrass Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) held its annual election of officers at a luncheon at the Daleville Cultural Center Monday.
The chapter elected Phillip Tidwell, Dothan, Ala., as president; Scott Larese, Enterprise, as first vice president for programs; Derek Dickens, Ozark, as second vice president for membership; and Michael Negard, Pinckard, third vice president for awards and publicity. The elected members will be sworn in Jun. 13 at a ceremony on Fort Rucker.
The chapter executive board internally approved the following board officer appointments May 3; Keith Gunter, Daleville, vice president for scholarships; Keith Frietag, Enterprise, vice president for industry affairs, and Sgt. Major John Hendricks, Daleville, vice president for NCO and Soldier affairs.
Remaining in other chapter positions are Bob Slagle, Daleville, executive secretary; John McLean, Enterprise, treasurer; and Ingrid Strange, Daleville, fund raising chairwoman.
The mission of the Fort Rucker – Wiregrass Chapter of AUSA is to represent every U.S. Army Soldier and Family member by being the voice for all components of America's Army, fostering public support of the Army's role in national security, and providing professional education and information programs.
